What a pleasant surprise, i did find this restaurant while we are riding arround on our scooters. If you like fresh crab or lobster this is a good place to go to. You can choose from different sizes and sorts of crab and lobster and ask the chef to prepare them how you like it. We did enjoy it.
What a hidden gem! It’s 10-15 minutes drive from our hotel and we came on a weekday evening, no wait to be seated. Udan Lipans are so fresh and it tastes fantastic in the cream milk, my daughter finished almost one large Udan lipan. Crabs are also good, but not so surprising maybe because we chose to cook in healthy ways Very much worth going if you want to taste fresh.
Food was fresh and well cooked. Price very reasonable for its quality. Nice idyllic surrounds. We were the last customers and the staff waited until we got a cab before leaving, really grateful for that. As the place is a little out of the way, would advise to prebook transport back if planning for late dinner there.
The food did not take so long as we went on a weekday. The view was breathtaking. Moreover, the food was fresh and delicious especially the crabs and the cockles. The price was also reasonable! We felt that this restaurant was one of the best in Langkawi! I highly recommend this to seafood lovers.
We enjoyed the rustic kelong atmosphere. Prices are shown prominently for your consideration. Pak Abu, the owner was very helpful with the history of the restaurant. The crabs were fresh. You must try the Udang Lipan. It does taste better than lobster. :)
You will pass by the pond first. It is a nice experience before you get your the restaurant. Food is delicious. Must order prior to arrival, otherwise you will have to wait for a while. The grab is really nice even though just simple steam. Must try the cold laktuk, the seaweed like caviar, it is served under a bed of ice.
